Present Your Research to an International Audience and Explore the Cambridge Biomedical Ecosystem
Medicine by Design is pleased to offer travel awards to enable trainees in Medicine by Design-funded laboratories to present their research at the 6th Cambridge International Stem Cell Symposium (Sept. 19 to 21, 2018) in Cambridge, U.K., and to take part in a one-day site visit (Sept. 22, 2018) of the Cambridge biomedical ecosystem with counterparts from the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute.
These travel awards are part of Medicine by Design’s broader strategy to build international connections and share best practices with outstanding research initiatives located within thriving biomedical ecosystems.
To qualify, trainees must have had an abstract accepted for presentation at the symposium. Abstracts are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and you must register for the symposium to submit an abstract. To confirm there is still space before you register, please contact Dr. Abi Herrmann, Research Communications Manager, Cambridge Stem Cell Institute.
A maximum of 10 travel awards of up to $2,500 (travel, accommodation, registration and meals) per trainee are available. Reimbursement guidelines are in compliance with University of Toronto and Canada First Research Excellence Fund policies.
Applications are due by April 15.
